After the pedicure, I walked back down to the restaurant overlooking the bay

A Mediterranean salad, and some Wi-Fi, so I can work on my travel blog

I still consider this the nicest place I've ever been

Well, I couldn't resist. When the manicurist finally showed up, and I went back for my pedicure, I just had to get another one of those amazing foot wraps


The approach to the day spa itself was incredibly relaxing!

After the sun goes down it just keeps getting better 






Probably the most tragic flaw of the iPhone, is that it cannot capture moonlight   
Or Star-field skies at night.

Oh, you'll just have to take my word for it but the moon, almost full, lights up the sky and still thousands of stars compete with it.

Back in San Juan Del Sur --This time at the far end of the beach 


today the sunset was punctuated with a comically graceful flock of pelicans, divebombing for  tasty sardines just below the surface

Walked in the city square while Flavio did something with a Lawyer concerning a land deed

Playa Marsella

Where we came to see the sunset and scout out beachfront accommodations

The beach is 9 km (5 miles?) away, but it took us about 40 minutes to get there on account of the dirt road filled with such bumpy potholes that we drove about 5 miles an hour the whole time

But it was most certainly well worth the trip!

Sunset III

No clouds, just like the Second, yet still spectacular. This time I arrived at the beach in time to walk around during the sunset , so Juju wouldn't be bored. 

She runs right into the shallow water even when we're not throwing her toy in the water

Third Sunset

Incredible views. Most people stop to watch 

Celeste walked with me until the sun sank into the horizon. She took pictures on her amazing new Motorola Android which she purchased with her own earnings, waitressing at the Howler Bar over her winter break. Her pictures of the same sunset looked better than mine! I'll try to snatch some of hers from her Facebook later.

Pelican Eyes Day Spa

I just got the most Amazing treatment at pelican eyes






My feet were soaked in some kind of menthol / camphor treatment. I was pain-free after!

Failed at a bank transaction: succeeded at capturing the sunset.
